The Challenge:

To create a reusable bag design that would appeal to both cat and dog owners and also be unique and fun enough to inspire sales not necessitated by immediate need (in other words, not ONLY when people found themselves at the register without a bag).

My Solution:

I opted for a double-sided bag with one side dedicated to dogs, and the other to cats.  The nature of this project - in which the design itself was for sale - meant that it was particularly fun for me, and I was able to indulge in a number of more adventurous pieces. Indeed, I prepared around a dozen designs, which were voted on by company employees.  I was very pleased when this - my favorite - won the poll.
